FARA be participating in the Winter Field Day exercise, which is where amateur radio operators demonstrate their ability to operate from anywhere they might be needed. The idea is to adapt and overcome sudden obstacle that will prepare us for unexpected emergencies.
We will be at C.M. Crockett Park, 1066 Rogues Rd, Midland VA 22728. All are welcome to visit. Setup will begin on the January 27th at 10 AM. Winter Field Day runs from January 27th at 2 PM and runs for 24 hours until January 28th at 1:59 PM.
