FARA be participating in the Winter Field Day exercise, which is where amateur radio operators demonstrate their ability to operate from anywhere they might be needed. The idea is to adapt and overcome sudden obstacle that will prepare us for unexpected emergencies.
We will be at 766 Viewtown Road, Amissville, VA 20106. All are welcome to visit. Setup will begin on the January 24th after the Club breakfast. Winter Field Day runs from January 24th at 11:00 and runs for 30 hours until January 25th at 17:59 PM.
