FARA be participating in the Winter Field Day exercise, which is where amateur radio operators demonstrate their ability to operate from anywhere they might be needed. The idea is to adapt and overcome sudden obstacle that will prepare us for unexpected emergencies.
We will be at C.M. Crockett Park, 1066 Rogues Rd, Midland VA 22728. All are welcome to visit. Setup will begin on the January 25th after the Club breakfast. Winter Field Day runs from January 25th at 11:00 and runs for 30 hours until January 26th at 17:59 PM.
